Power At Sea Prize

Pays teams up to $1.5 million combined to build early-stage marine energy systems that supply reliable power at sea.

In the CONCEPT Phase, DOE's Water Power Technologies Office awarded $200,000 total to 20 winners ($10,000 each) in November 2024; those same 20 teams then compete in the DEVELOP Phase for a share of up to $1,500,000, plus training, mentorship and new connections throughout.
