SI ID Empresarial / SIID (Portugal)

Funds Portuguese enterprises across development stages with grants for industrial and knowledge-transfer innovation projects.

SI ID Empresarial / SIID (Portugal 2030) is ANI's main business R&D grant route in Portugal. It sits inside Portugal 2030 and is delivered through COMPETE2030 nationally and the regional programmes for Centro, Alentejo, Algarve and Lisbon, with ANI acting as intermediary body. The route is anchored in company research, demonstrators, hubs and internationalisation rather than a single thematic call. The measure funds business R&D, demonstrator projects, mobilising programmes, proof of concept, R&D hubs, internationalisation, intellectual and industrial property, and simplified-regime operations. It is open to for-profit companies, nonprofits, universities and research organisations, while individuals are excluded. Portuguese documentation and registration are required, and no match funding is listed. Applicants fit best when they already have a Portuguese base and a project that can move from research into demonstration, collaboration or international reach. Because the route spans several notice types, it works as a broad entry point for Portuguese innovation projects rather than a narrow one-off competition. The strongest proposals are likely to align cleanly with the chosen notice and the regional or national programme that is carrying it.
