Runs PNCDI IV Program - Resurse Umane Human Resources, researcher career development across postdoctoral, young team, mobility, and diaspora instruments.
Program 5.2 aims to increase the number of researchers and form generations engaged with European and international scientific environments through career development support. It covers postdoctoral research projects (PD), independent young team research (TE — Tinere Echipe), named scholarships (Odobleja, Mehedinți, Haret), researcher mobility, diaspora researcher return schemes, and publication support. PD-2026 was in public consultation as of early 2026 (PDF package only — not yet retrievable as structured text). Marie Sklodowska-Curie Certificates of Excellence (national top-ups for MSCA Seal of Excellence applicants) are also administered under this program. All instruments are submitted through uefiscdi-direct.ro.
