Almi Verification Grant (Verifieringsbidrag)
Provides Swedish small businesses and entrepreneurs funding for market research and technical feasibility work.
Almi's Verification Grant, or Verifieringsbidrag, is Almi Företagspartner's grant route for Swedish SMEs and, in a smaller track, private individuals planning a Swedish business. It is a state-aid instrument rather than a competitive research call, with support capped at SEK 100,000 for companies and SEK 25,000 for individuals. The money pays for external verification work such as customer-needs analysis, market studies, technical feasibility checks, freedom-to-operate work, simple MVP development, and legal or regulatory review. No co-financing is required. De minimis rules apply, with a EUR 300,000 rolling three-year cap, and travel, marketing, training, patents, prototypes, and lasting investments are excluded. The fit is early-stage innovation that needs evidence before a larger commercial push. Applicants start with an Almi adviser and then submit through the e-service, so the route rewards a practical case for why the idea needs verification and how the results will shape the next step for a stronger business plan.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
