Audiovisual Works Production Incentive

The Audiovisual Works Production Incentive provides a cash rebate of up to 25% of eligible Swedish production costs for feature films, documentaries, and drama series. Eligible costs are salaries paid to Swedish taxpayers and purchases from Swedish tax-registered companies during production and post-production. The work must be classified as a 'cultural product' and principal photography must not have begun before application. Minimum budget thresholds apply: SEK 30M for feature films, SEK 10M for documentaries or drama series (per episode), and SEK 5M per episode for documentary series. At least SEK 4M in eligible Swedish production costs is required. The Autumn 2025 call awarded approximately SEK 82.5M across 7 applications.
