Grant for Recruiting International Visiting Researchers
Funds international visiting researcher hosting at Swedish universities through fixed-term grants.
Swedish HEIs and approved research organisations apply on behalf of a visiting researcher to fund a 12-month temporary employment. The visiting researcher must have been working outside Europe for at least 2 years and have at least 5 years of post-PhD experience. Awards a fixed 2,000,000 SEK per grant; 2026 total budget of 30,000,000 SEK (~15 awards). Rolling window: 11 February – 10 November 2026. Decisions are made on a rolling basis approximately 2 months after submission. Projects can start any time between May 2026 and March 2027.
