Research Environment Grant — Humanities and Social Sciences
Funds group projects in humanities and social sciences through collaborative research environments.
Supports collaborative research groups in humanities and social sciences tackling long-term projects that exceed individual researcher capacity. Awards 1.5–3M SEK per year for 4–6 years (projects start July 2027). Participants must have doctoral degrees or equivalent competence; team size is 2–6 plus the lead applicant. The research plan is limited to 10 A4 pages. Budget justification and ethical considerations are required. Applications must be submitted in English (popular-science description in Swedish). This is one of several parallel subject-area variants of VR's research environment grant program.
