Startup SG Equity

Startup SG Equity is Enterprise Singapore's co-investment scheme for Singapore-based deep-tech startups with global growth potential. Budget 2026 set aside S$1 billion for early- and growth-stage deep-tech investment, and the scheme is run through SG Growth Capital and SGInnovate. The program uses three modalities: co-investments with qualified third-party investors into early-stage startups, direct investments into selected growth-stage companies in strategic domains, and fund-of-funds commitments into venture firms that can back companies from early to late growth. Eligibility centers on advanced or specialised science or engineering and research-based intellectual property that is differentiated or proprietary. Applicants must be for-profit, registered in Singapore, and operating in Singapore. The best fit is a company with defensible technical IP, a credible private investor alongside it, and a growth plan that can stand up to commercial due diligence. The growth-stage route also asks for clear product-market fit and international expansion plans, so teams that can show technical depth and market pull are strongest.
