NSTDA Chair Professor Program
Funds elite research chairs in Thailand through NSTDA Chair Professor grants across science, materials, energy, and health-focused programs.
The NSTDA Chair Professor Program provides up to THB 20 million per research group over 5 years, targeting frontier science in six domains: bioscience/biotech, nanoscience, electronics/IT, materials/manufacturing, energy/sustainability, and open research. Up to 2 research groups are selected per cycle. High-performing teams can receive a supplemental upgrade of up to THB 15 million within the original timeline. Research topics supported include quantum computing, AI and data science, nano-robotics, terahertz technologies, artificial photosynthesis, precision medicine, and automation/logistics.
