Innovation and Technology Assistance Program (ITAP)
Supports cost-share consulting grants to Thai small and medium-sized enterprises adopting technology through expert matchmaking.
ITAP (Innovation and Technology Assistance Program) is NSTDA's industry-facing technology adoption grant for Thai SMEs. It provides expert matchmaking combined with a 50% cost-share subsidy, covering up to THB 400,000 per project. Over 4,000 projects have been completed since inception with 1,300+ specialists engaged. The program follows a 7-step process: submission, analysis, custom project design, approval, implementation, evaluation, and expense reimbursement. ITAP has an English-language portal (itap.nstda.or.th/en) and a dedicated helpline, making it more accessible to internationally-connected SMEs than NSTDA's researcher-facing programs.
