NSTDA-NRCT High-Potential Research Team Grants
Supports Joint NSTDA and NRCT grants to develop research teams with major socio-economic impact.
The NSTDA-NRCT High-Potential Research Team Grants is a joint program co-funded by NSTDA and the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). Awards reach up to THB 15 million per team over a 3-year project period. The program aims to develop Thailand's scientific human resources and strengthen research and innovation capability with significant socio-economic impact. Awardees receive access to NSTDA S&T infrastructure including a supercomputer centre, National Omics Centre, National Biobank, and pilot plants. Business support services (incubation, IP filing, technology licensing) are also available. Six teams were awarded in the 2022-2023 cycle across disciplines spanning exosome drug delivery, space radiation, aquaculture virology, and genomics.
