PMU-B (Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation), also branded 'Program Management Unit for Frontier Brainpower and Future Industries' under RCAD from 2026, funds scholarships, postdoctoral fellowships, and research-institution capacity. Eligible recipients include Thai universities and research institutes. Key thematic areas include quantum computing, AI, and international health research. PMU-B is the Thai contracting party for two active bilateral joint calls: the e-Asia Joint Research Programme (JRP) with multilateral ASEAN partners, and NEXUS with Japan's JST covering biotechnology.
