SME Digital Transformation Support Program

KOSGEB’s SME Digital Transformation Support Program helps Turkish manufacturing SMEs finance the shift toward digital equipment and software. It is an interest-subsidy route rather than a direct cash grant, and the structure reflects that: KOSGEB supports the cost of the bank loan while the company borrows through commercial lenders. The program covers 1,000,000 to 20,000,000 TRY of underlying credit through TEB, İş Bankası, or Yapı Kredi. Applicants must first secure a certified digital transformation or maturity assessment report, then apply through the KDS system. The eligible pool is narrow: manufacturing SMEs only, with microenterprises excluded, positive equity in the last fiscal year, and positive operating profit in at least one of the past three years. The program runs for 24 months, with bank credit terms up to 36 months and an optional six-month grace period. This support works best for manufacturers that already have a plan for automation, software, or connected equipment and can prove they are stable enough to carry the loan. The strongest applicants arrive with a credible assessment, a clean balance sheet, and a project that will raise productivity rather than merely refresh old kit.
