KOBİGEL — SME Development Support Program

KOBİGEL, KOSGEB’s SME Development Support Program, is a Turkish state-backed route for manufacturing businesses that want to raise competitiveness and add value through a defined project. It sits inside KOSGEB’s wider SME portfolio under the Ministry of Industry and Technology and is one of the agency’s main industrial support channels. The program provides up to 2,000,000 TRY per project. Personnel costs can be covered at 100% non-repayable support, while machinery, software, and service costs are handled through a mix that is 70% repayable. Eligible firms must operate in manufacturing, align with the relevant NACE call, and use the KBS portal during announced application windows. Projects run 8 to 36 months, with a possible four-month extension. KOBİGEL is strongest when the budget is tied to a concrete productivity or capacity plan, not a vague equipment wish list. Firms that can document how the project improves output, technology use, or operating efficiency are the best fit, especially when the spend is split cleanly between staff, equipment, software, and specialist services.
