A+ Industrial Innovation R&D Program
Funds companies and startups through A plus Industrial Innovation Program, helping them invest in manufacturing and digital technologies.
A+ Industrial Innovation R&D Programme is MOEA’s Department of Industrial Technology initiative for subsidizing Taiwanese enterprises in forward-looking R&D. It has run since 2014 to connect industrial development with technology research that can scale. The program includes a Global R&D Innovation Partnership stream and an International Innovation R&D Collaboration Subsidy stream that route Taiwanese firms into bilateral and multilateral projects with partners in Europe and other partner economies. It explicitly supports collaboration with international partners and is especially relevant for Taiwanese for-profit applicants and research organisations that can position an external partner at the application stage, with financing structured as a subsidy-style grant. Individuals are excluded, and the programme is managed on a rolling basis.
