EarthScale

EarthScale is Imperial Enterprise Lab’s UK-wide climate-tech scaling programme and is delivered with six partner institutions. Unlike Imperial-only initiatives, it is open to the wider UK innovation ecosystem and is built for ventures that need help moving from early traction to scale. The programme runs for 12 months and supports IP-rich ventures at Technology or Software Readiness Level 5 to 6. It offers up to £14,000 in pre-paid vouchers per venture, together with investment-readiness coaching, investor introductions, access to university facilities, legal support on IP and manufacturing compliance, and workshops on financial modelling, recruitment, and regulation. Eligible ventures must be registered and operating in the UK, have raised seed investment, and show initial sales traction. EarthScale is strongest for climate-tech teams with a research base and a clear commercialization path. Ventures rooted in STEM research are preferred, UK research council funding is a plus, and the programme is most useful for founders who can use technical access and commercial guidance alongside the voucher support.
