Imperial Enterprise (Imperial College London)United KingdomPrize

The Global Challenge Lab is a 14-day virtual innovation sprint within Imperial Enterprise Lab at Imperial College London. It brings Imperial students and Imperial postgraduate offer holders into short, cross-faculty teams to develop ideas across four themed tracks. The 2026 edition ran from 14 to 30 July and carried a £3,000 prize fund distributed among winning teams. Teams must include three to six members and draw from at least two different faculties. The sprint is open to current Imperial students and Imperial postgraduate offer holders, and all participants receive a Certificate of Completion from Imperial College London. The programme is best understood as a structured competition and learning sprint rather than a startup funding route. It rewards fast collaboration, clear problem framing, and steady daily participation, and it suits participants who want to test an idea, work across disciplines, and leave with a stronger team dynamic than they started with.
