LifeArc Knowledge Transfer Innovation Fellowship
Provides career development fellowship for early-career European life scientists entering technology transfer.
The LifeArc Knowledge Transfer Innovation Fellowship is a 12-month career development programme under LifeArc in the UK, run with ASTP and AUTM. For the 2026-27 cohort, it is designed for early-career life scientists who want to move into technology transfer or business development, and it sits outside LifeArc's research grant work. Up to 18 fellowships are awarded each year, with at least two reserved for non-UK applicants. The fellowship covers travel, conference registration, airfare, and accommodation for designated events, but it does not pay a stipend. Fellows also receive AUTM and ASTP membership, peer and expert mentoring, monthly meetings, and access to international conferences in Seattle and Bucharest. Eligibility is tightly defined: applicants must be Europe-based, employed at an academic or other non-commercial establishment at the start date, and have less than one year of technology transfer or business development experience. Final-year PhD students can apply, and the application asks for a CV, a 500-word statement, and two letters of recommendation.
Each grant below is a distinct funding opportunity with its own eligibility, scope, and deliverables.
