This is a two-stage researcher-led call: an outline application first, then a full application if invited, assessed for robust methodology, patient and public involvement, and engagement with existing evidence. Applicants respond to no fixed research question, choosing their own topic within PHR's scope rather than a specification NIHR has already written.
