The South Yorkshire Brownfield Housing Fund is a government-funded programme to bring unused brownfield land back into residential development across the region. SYMCA received £53 million from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities since 2020, targeting at least 3,300 new homes. A further £118 million from the National Housing Development Fund was secured from April 2026.
