Skills Bootcamps (Tees Valley)
Invests Skills Bootcamps, funded courses for adults with employer participation and completion-based interviews.
Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks helping adults aged 19+ build sector-specific skills in Digital, Logistics, Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Bioscience, Clean Energy, and Green industries. On completion, participants receive a guaranteed interview with a local employer. Funded by the Department for Education (DfE) as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee, delivered locally by TVCA. Employers sponsoring existing staff can access the courses but must contribute: 10% for SMEs, 30% for large employers. Course costs vary by individual bootcamp and are set by training providers.
