CREATE-X Startup Launch
Offers Georgia Tech students, faculty, and alumni startup launch support with seed resources and a focused summer programme.
CREATE-X Startup Launch sits under Georgia Tech and its GTF Ventures-backed seed fund. It is a 12-week summer startup program for Georgia Tech students, faculty, researchers, and alumni who want to turn projects into operating companies. Accepted teams receive $5,000 in seed funding plus about $150,000 of in-kind support, including coaching, mentor access, legal incorporation, accounting and tax help, co-working space, and Demo Day access. The program runs annually, and the current cycle material says the 2026 cohort was full while the 2027 cycle was open. Selection turns on team composition, the problem or market being addressed, and product quality. The strongest teams are those with enough traction and commitment to spend the summer building full-time, because the program is structured around rapid company formation rather than classroom-style incubation. Teams also move through Preview Day and Demo Day, where investors and a larger public audience see the work. That final showcase gives founders direct feedback before the summer ends.
