Quadrant-i Startup Launch

Supports Georgia Tech researchers commercializing lab innovations through grants and mentored startup launch.

Georgia Institute of TechnologyUnited StatesGrant

CREATE-X in collaboration with Quadrant-i offers a specialized track of Startup Launch for faculty, graduate students, and researchers commercializing research from a Georgia Tech lab. Accepted teams receive a $10,000 commercialization grant plus $150,000 in in-kind services, with mentorship from Quadrant-i leadership and Demo Day presentation. Eligibility requires that the project be based on funded research from a Georgia Tech lab; teams with their own intellectual property may apply but do not qualify for the $10K commercialization grant (would receive in-kind services only). In-person participation is mandatory. The program is annual (summer cohort) and restricted to Georgia Tech faculty, graduate students, and researchers. 2026 cohort was at capacity with a waitlist available; 2027 cycle to follow.
