IGEM Grant Program — Commerce Track

The IGEM Commerce Track is administered by the Idaho Department of Commerce and supports industry-university partnerships to commercialize innovations. Eligible applicants are either university researchers seeking an industry partner to bring their technology to market, or Idaho industry members seeking academic validation of their technology. The program has cumulatively invested over $3.3 million to date. It shares statutory authority with the HERC track under IDAPA 28.02.03.250, both governed by the IGEM Council. The dedicated program portal (igem.idaho.gov) was unreachable at capture time; per-cycle award amounts, application portal, and current RFP were not retrieved.
