The Heat Pump and HVAC Training Network funds Massachusetts community colleges to establish hands-on training centers for heat pump installation and maintenance. Awards of up to $1,200,000 per institution support facility buildout and curriculum development to address the Commonwealth's HVAC technician shortage. Only the 15 MA community colleges are eligible to apply directly. The program has two strands: Strand A with a fixed March 2026 deadline, and Strand B accepting rolling proposals through May 2027.
