Federal Funding Application Support (TAP)

MTI's Technical Assistance Program (TAP) provides free, expert guidance to Maine small businesses applying for SBIR/STTR or other federal R&D funding. Services include strategy consultations, solicitation identification, proposal development guidance, and proposal review. The program is open to Maine small businesses across all 16 counties. An initial assessment determines candidate suitability. There is no cash grant — this is a service-based program with no MTI award amount.
