NSIN Vector
Supports pre-Series accelerator connecting dual-use startups with DoD mentors and prize.
NSIN Vector is a 10-week accelerator for pre-Series A and early-stage dual-use ventures seeking to do business with and develop innovations for the Department of Defense. Companies receive mentorship from DoD officials and alumni on federal procurement, market research, and capital raising. In 2024, 20 companies were selected from 170 applicants, focusing on command and control, resilient positioning, data sharing, and advanced sensing in contested environments. At the close of the cohort, participating companies compete for $50,000 in total prize money during a showcase event. NSIN describes Vector as part of its Venture Portfolio, connecting early-stage companies with the defense innovation ecosystem. The prize instrument is non-dilutive cash; the accelerator services (mentorship, access, networks) are the primary value-add.
