WINN — Workforce Innovations for a New Nevada

Supports training grants to industry-led consortia and community colleges building Nevada's skilled workforce.

WINN (Workforce Innovations for a New Nevada) is described as 'the first workforce development training program of its kind in Nevada.' It awards annual training grants to industry-led consortia and community colleges to create skilled-worker pipelines in sectors such as logistics, nursing, mining, manufacturing, and automotive/diesel. GOED administers WINN in coordination with the Nevada System of Higher Education, the Governor's Office of Workforce Innovation, the Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation, and the Department of Education. Recent cycles distributed $2.7M (August 2025), $1.7M (July 2024), $1.1M (May 2024), and $6M (June 2023) across 10+ programs.
