Under Quỹ Đổi mới công nghệ quốc gia (National Technology Innovation Fund), the Innovation Support program backs Vietnamese startups, SMEs, universities, and research teams that need help turning technical ideas into market-ready products. It sits alongside NATIF's cost support and loan-interest subsidy channels, and it is meant to move projects from research into commercialization. The 2026 cycle is tied to Nghị định 268/2025/NĐ-CP, runs through an online intake form, and uses a 100-point review with a 60-point minimum. Support is organized as vouchers and project support rather than a published fixed award ceiling. Applicants are expected to submit a short project brief, a financial plan, and supporting evidence; patents help but are not required. The program is strongest for teams that can show market pull, technical feasibility, and a credible path to delivery. NATIF gives priority to proposals with clear commercialization value, credible execution capacity, and enough detail to support testing, certification, and partner coordination. Projects read best when the budget, milestones, and use case all point to a realistic launch.
