Under Quỹ Đổi mới công nghệ quốc gia (National Technology Innovation Fund), the Loan-Interest Subsidy program helps Vietnamese enterprises cut the financing cost of technology adoption, transfer, and innovation projects. It is not a direct loan or a grant; NATIF pays part of the interest on commercial borrowing through an accredited Vietnamese credit institution. The fund can cover up to 50 percent of the contracted interest rate, capped at 6 percent, for up to five years. Eligibility starts with a signed loan contract and an approved investment project, and NATIF's 2026-2027 demand survey runs from 23 May to 30 June 2026 as it plans the budget. The program fits companies with bankable projects that already have lender support and clear technology content. Strong applicants show a credible repayment path, a project that matches NATIF's priority technology areas, and a financing structure that can move quickly through both bank and fund review. It is best suited to businesses that need lower carrying cost, not early-stage experimental capital.
