Runs as a three-part competition: a call for concept white papers, a finals pitch event, and an optional Phase I Army SBIR proposal for winners. Up to 12 finalists each receive $20,000 and pitch to an Army and Department of War review panel; up to 5 final winners then receive an additional $152,000 each, and winners may also submit a Phase I SBIR proposal worth up to $300,000.
