Runs as three parts: a call for concept white papers, a final pitch event and technology showcase, and an optional Phase I Army SBIR proposal for winners. Up to 16 finalists each receive $2,500 and pitch to Army and Department of War subject-matter experts; the Army then selects up to 8 winners for an additional $20,000 each, and winners may submit a Phase I SBIR proposal worth up to $300,000.
