Stripe, Inc. is a global payments technology company. Its only grant-adjacent activity is via Frontier, a public benefit LLC wholly owned by Stripe Inc. that administers an advance market commitment (AMC) to buy $1B+ of permanent carbon removal by 2030. Frontier was co-founded with Alphabet, Shopify, Meta, and McKinsey, and has since grown to nine major corporate buyer members plus tens of thousands of Stripe Climate participants.

Stripe Climate is Stripe's customer-facing channel that lets Stripe users direct a percentage of their revenue into Frontier's portfolio — it is a purchase-facilitation product, not a grant program. Actual grant funding (R&D grants of $250K–$750K and prepurchases of $250K–$1.5M) is issued by Frontier under its Innovation Track, administered at frontierclimate.com.
