TÜBİTAK — Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye
Offers TÜBİTAK as Turkey's principal innovation funding institution with competitive research, industrial, and startup programs.
TÜBİTAK is Turkey's principal national body for funding, managing, and conducting research, development, and innovation. Established in 1963, it operates under the Office of the President of Türkiye and serves as secretariat for the Supreme Council for Science and Technology (SCST). The agency channels competitive grants across four main directorates: ARDEB (academic research), TEYDEB (industrial R&D), BIDEB (researcher scholarships and fellowships), and BITO (science and society).
TÜBİTAK funds more than twenty named programs covering solo-investigator academic projects, industry R&D grants for SMEs and large firms, university–industry consortia, early-career researcher grants, postdoctoral fellowships, and entrepreneur startup support via the BiGG program. All monetary values are denominated in Turkish Lira (TRY); English-language pages list program codes and names but grant amounts are published per-call on the Turkish portal and are not disclosed in advance.
