endMS Doctoral Studentship Awards
Funds PhD students researching multiple sclerosis for up to four years.
It is a personal studentship worth $22,000 a year, or $50,500 for an MD holder, renewable annually for up to four years total based on a yearly Progress Report reviewed by MS Canada's endMS Personnel review committee. Applications go through ProposalCentral with a CV, a Plain Language Summary, transcripts and reference letters, and this cycle's funding decisions are expected by March 2027.
The award funds doctoral research into multiple sclerosis across MS Canada's four strategic priorities: better treatment and care, enhanced well-being, understanding and halting disease progression, and MS prevention. Applicants choose either a biomedical-research stream or a clinical and population-health-research stream.
