Sostenibilidad para la Cadena de Valor del Turismo
Invests Sostenibilidad para la Cadena de Valor del Turismo for practical innovation and measurable results.
iNNpulsa Colombia's Sostenibilidad para la Cadena de Valor del Turismo program was opened on February 12, 2026 and remains active until 1,300 beneficiary slots are filled. The program strengthens the environmental competitiveness of tourism-sector businesses in Colombia by providing up to 30 hours of specialized training across at least four of twelve topic areas — including sustainability, energy transformation, innovation, and bioeconomy — combined with technical accompaniment and direct resource allocation of up to COP $122,000,000 per selected beneficiary. Resources are directed toward implementing environmental solutions such as energy- and water-efficient equipment, waste management systems, and emissions-reduction technologies.
Of the 1,300 total beneficiaries, 905 receive full technical accompaniment consisting of an environmental diagnostic, design of an Environmental Management Plan, implementation support, and impact monitoring. The program also organizes 174 connection roundtables and up to 42 territorial events to share best practices and amplify results. Eligible applicants include hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, community tourism associations, artisans, nature and cultural tourism businesses, and popular-economy micro-enterprises — any actor in the expanded tourism value chain with a physical establishment (owned, rented, or on loan) suitable for the environmental project.
The call is administered by iNNpulsa Colombia, the national SME and entrepreneurship promotion agency under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. Applications are submitted via an Office Forms portal linked from the program page. Because the call closes on a slot-count basis rather than a fixed date, applicants in the tourism sector should apply promptly. The terms of reference (Terminos de Referencia PDF) contain full scoring and selection criteria.
