Fondo Emprender — Línea Crecer (Reimbursable Seed Capital)
Funds Colombian small businesses paired with SENA mentors through the Línea Crecer seed support for early growth.
Fondo Emprender Línea Crecer is a reimbursable seed capital programme administered by SENA — Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje in Colombia, providing working-capital loans to established micro-enterprises and small-to-medium businesses that previously received SENA accompaniment. Unlike Fondo Emprender's grant-based Línea Crear, Línea Crecer operates as a loan instrument: funds must be repaid at a fixed annual interest rate of 6% over a 23-month term, with up to five months of grace period available from disbursement. The maximum loan amount is COP 50,000,000 (fifty million pesos) per the current 2026 programme parameters. Eligible uses of funds are restricted to salaries, raw materials, operational supplies, and essential services such as rent and transport; consulting fees, insurance, maintenance, and machinery purchases are explicitly excluded. To qualify, an applicant must be a legal entity or individual with an active Cámara de Comercio registration, a business aged between one and five years, annual sales exceeding COP 15 million, and prior participation in SENA Emprende Rural, Fondo Emprender Línea Crear, or SENA Fortalecimiento Empresarial. Businesses in insolvency proceedings under Ley 1116 de 2006 are ineligible. The programme operates on a rolling basis with no fixed annual deadline.
Business consolidation for micro-enterprises and SMEs with prior SENA accompaniment.
