The Google for Startups Cloud Program Web3 sub-program provides blockchain and Web3 startups with Google Cloud credits and community access, structured across two tiers based on funding stage. It is part of Google Cloud's broader startup support initiative and accepts rolling applications with no fixed deadline.

The Start tier is open to pre-funded Web3 projects founded within the last five years that have not yet received institutional investment; it provides $2,000 in Google Cloud credits valid for one year. The Scale tier targets Web3 projects that have received verifiable funding — equity raises, institutional VC, token raises, NFT fundraising, or grants from a blockchain foundation — up to and including Series A (if Series A, the raise must have occurred within the last 12 months). Scale tier participants may not have received more than $4,000 in prior Google Cloud credits and must have been founded within the last ten years. Scale tier benefits include up to $200,000 in Google Cloud and Firebase credits over two years, structured as 100% coverage up to $100,000 in Year 1 and 20% coverage up to $100,000 in Year 2, plus $12,000 in Enhanced Support credits and 12 months of free Google Workspace Business Plus. Web3-specific community benefits include invite-only access to a gated Discord channel, VIP access to global Web3 conferences such as Paris Blockchain Week, Consensus, and TOKEN2049 Singapore, and input on Google Cloud's Web3 product roadmap.

Scale tier participants also gain referral access to partner foundation grants from Aptos, Celo, Flow, HBAR, Near, Polygon, and Solana — though those programs are administered independently by those foundations and are not delivered by Google Cloud. Cryptocurrency mining companies and projects distributing tokens contrary to regulatory guidance are ineligible. All Google-side benefits are in-kind cloud credits, not cash.

Google Cloud credits ranging from $2,000 to $200,000 for blockchain and Web3 startups, with tier determined by funding stage from pre-funded projects through Series A.
