Cultivating Connected Communities Challenge
Pays community garden organizers up to $8,000 each to make gardens more accessible.
The challenge runs in two phases: Phase 1 pays up to 50 winners up to $4,000 each, and Phase 2 pays up to 50 winners up to $8,000 each, for a $600,000 total prize pool. Sponsored by the Administration for Community Living, entrants apply directly on ACL's own challenge page.
Looks for ideas from community garden organizers that expand accessible gardening programs, improve food access, and strengthen social connection for people with disabilities and older adults. Entries can be a creative design/multimedia submission or a written business plan.
