The Commission wants advanced digital-skills training in AI for health, co-designed by higher-education institutions, vocational training providers, research organisations and industry, aimed at healthcare professionals, computer scientists, programmers and software developers working in health. Training must reflect the Apply AI Strategy and the European Health Data Space, and be delivered through the European network of AI-powered advanced screening centres at least every quarter.
