Digital Innovation in Food Processing Award

Pays at least $7,500 to startups making food processing more sustainable and efficient.

This category is one of four Startup Innovation Award tracks run by the World Food Forum together with MassChallenge Switzerland, and applicants compete only within their own category rather than against the full applicant pool. A category win pays at least $7,500, with $2,500 going to the runner-up, and every finalist across all four categories can also compete separately for MassChallenge Switze

Looks for startups building data-driven, connected solutions that make food processing more sustainable, efficient and resilient — smart equipment and platforms that improve how raw food is processed, preserved and packaged. Entrants must be youth-led (a founder or C-level exec aged 18-35), with under $2M raised and under $2M in sales.
