The Commission wants a more robust, cognitive electronic warfare (EW) system that uses AI and machine learning to detect, learn from and interact with a congested electromagnetic environment. It's after technology that interprets data from multiple sensors and frequency bands autonomously, automating threat detection, suppression and neutralisation to cut response time when qualified operators are scarce.
