Asia-Pacific Kick-Start
Funds Kick-start studies that bring space-enabled services to the Asia-Pacific region.
Teams register on ESA-STAR, download the Invitation to Tender, write a proposal (with a National Delegation Letter of Support if needed) and submit via ESA-STAR Tendering by the closing date. Only Germany and Norway currently have pre-approved funding for this Kick-start; other Member States need their own delegation's approval.
ESA is looking for companies that want to expand space-enabled offers into the Asia-Pacific region, export existing solutions by adapting them to local needs, or develop new applications and services there. Named topics include urbanisation, pollution monitoring, renewable energy management, and food security.
