Demonstrate large-scale protection, restoration and sustainable management of marine and coastal vegetated blue-forest ecosystems in one Mission basin. Restore degraded habitats, manage marine protected areas, assess cumulative stressors and ecosystem services, develop credible conservation and blue-carbon financing models, engage local communities and authorities, and establish multi-sensor monitoring that continues through networks such as EMODnet. Deliver replication roadmaps, public awareness and community participation, and operational links with Mission Lighthouse CSAs and the Mission Implementation Platform.
