Neighbourhoods affect how people feel, move, connect and stay well, but local decisions often lack comparable evidence about those experiences. Researching how people sense, understand and identify with their neighbourhoods, and how those experiences affect physical and mental health, well-being, belonging and cultural identity; validating comparable evidence in urban, peri-urban and rural neighbourhoods across at least three countries; and turning it into participatory recommendations for planning, procurement, regeneration and the green, nature-positive transition, including climate resilience.
