Create independent European knowledge and expert networks on China’s science, technology and innovation system. Build a framework to generate, organise and share evidence on China’s STI policies, legal framework, government structures, narratives and international collaboration strategies. Develop and test interdisciplinary methods to assess critical technologies and their implications for European economic security, strategic autonomy and the Competitiveness Compass, while connecting China experts with engineers, technology experts, economists and legal specialists and actively involving young EU researchers.
