Funds Portuguese SME innovation and expansion projects from EUR 300,000 to EUR 25 million.

Eligible activities include setting up new facilities, expanding capacity, diversifying production, or transforming production processes, over a 24-month project. Non-refundable funding covers eligible costs such as equipment, construction, software, patents and consultancy, and applicants that have operated for more than a year must also meet financial autonomy criteria.

Invest2030 backs private micro, small and medium enterprises (under 250 employees) in mainland Portugal's services, industry and tourism sectors. Within tourism specifically, eligible activities include coastal, maritime and inland-water tourism and health and medical tourism, plus a long list of tourism-adjacent services: amusement and theme parks, camping grounds and caravan parks, event catering, festivals and cultural or entertainment activities, gardens and nature reserves, hotels and short-stay accommodation, historical-site operation, restaurants, cafes and bars, and water passenger transport, among others. It targets projects that create new goods or services, or meaningfully improve existing ones, through innovation, knowledge transfer or modernised business processes.
