Pays 40-50% of a Portuguese SME's costs to research, market and certify itself in foreign markets.
The call runs in two phases, each with its own deadline, funding rate and maximum grant per operation. Phase 1 pays a base rate of 40% of eligible costs, capped at €300,000 per operation, and closed 30 December 2025. The call backs mainland Portuguese SMEs that want to grow their exports and enter new foreign markets, aiming to create new exporters, grow existing ones, and diversify away from a small number of destination markets. Eligible costs cover market research and prospecting, participation in foreign trade fairs, exhibitions and missions, international marketing including digital tools, online presence and e-commerce, creating and promoting a brand abroad, organizational innovation in commercial processes and external relations, and quality assurance and certifications needed to sell into foreign markets.
