This call funds the purchase and upkeep of investigation and surveillance equipment and methods that beneficiaries use to prevent and fight fraud, corruption and other activity harming the EU's financial interests. Adapted transport equipment, IT hardware and software, and audio-visual equipment can also be covered, but only where the applicant can clearly show the purchase helps prevent or combat that fraud, corruption or other illegal activity. Specialised staff training to operate the purchased equipment must be included as part of the funded action.
