ESA wants commercial services empowered by space technology that reduce the vulnerability of critical infrastructure -- drinking water supply, emergency services, food and agriculture, financial services, waste and wastewater, government facilities, dams, harbours, transportation and IT. Proposals must use a technology originally developed for space, such as Earth observation, satellite navigation, satellite communications, or space weather monitoring.
